   Excellent product, folded fits in the rear of my Mazda CX5 , I could fit 2 if required. Easy to fold and unfold. Ride is well balanced ,brakes good. Nice friendly staff and no rush trial and instruction.

   I have had my Electrotryicle since 2021. I really enjoy riding it, the seat is very comfortable, the controls are easy to manage, the brakes are very effective and the power assistance for nipping up the hills is great! It is good to ride because you do still have to pedal, but the extra boost of battery power gives me the confidence to go further and enjoy the journey more!

   This has been a very useful purchase for us. My wife has had an electric bike for a decade or so, but that was two wheeled and balance was now an issue (setting off and stopping). This bike allows my wife to take her time getting ready to set off, and can stop without worrying about getting her feet down in time. The folding down takes a bit of getting used to, but once you’ve done it a few times, it’s easy enough. The unit when folded is heavy, so someone able bodied would need to be around to lift it in and out of car boots etc. Well engineered, well thought out, and extremely helpful at point of sale. A comfortable ride, effective brakes, good gearing system.

   I saw the Electrotrike at a show in Lincoln in Oct 2023 and was immediately struck.
   It would go in the passageway alongside the house (it does). It would fold neatly and go on the back of our motorhome van with a lightly modified cycle carrier (it does).
   I found a Facebook page for it and it was clearly well regarded. After seeing it 4 times at different shows (where they claim to do all the warranty work but I saw nothing like that – only happy customers) I took the plunge in Aug 2024.
   I must say I’m delighted – with two batteries I can easily go 15 miles away but mostly I do short trips, shopping and breakfast at Spoons.
   As transport in town its brilliant, lots of comments and the seating position makes for conversations with people really easy (unlike on a bicycle).
   Set the excellent hand brake and your hands are free to gesticulate (unlike on a bicycle).
   Trickle extremely slowly on the “Mobility” button through crowds (impossible to do in real safety on a bicycle).
   Fit a lockable “double-helmet topbox” and do your Xmas shopping without worry – while an open basket on the front takes smaller items.
   Much more capacity than any regular “Mobility” scooter – while folding properly, unlike any other “full-size” trike on the market. So tight does it go that I was putting it in the back of my wife’s tiny Kia Picanto!
   In the summer I was taking folding chairs and refreshments to festivals in a hideous 92ltr quick-fit bin – and several times I took this bin to Morrison’s, had breakfast there and then did our “Click’n’Collect”. I loaded it to 44 kg with bottles of pop and I’m clearly only limited by the size of my bin – it would take a lot more than that.
   I keep the bicycle functioning just in case but after 16 months and 850 miles I’m pretty much fully transitioned. I’m locking it carefully (frame-lock + chain + alarm) but if anything happened I’d go straight out and get another.

   What fabulous customer service ☺️ bought my folding tricycle nearly a year ago and used it as much as possible during lockdown.
   We are now away in our caravan waiting to surprise our grandchildren who have never seen nanny ride a bike 🚲, then on Thursday disaster, I had a problem with the drive shaft, even though hubby is very good, he couldn’t sort it.
   A call to AS bikes office followed with an email with pictures of the problem. First thing Friday a call from the office, sorry Peter was at the Harrogate show however if we could get the bike to the workshop Peter would video call the mechanic and talk him through the repair.
   We were only an hour away so off we set. Less than an hour later we were sorted and on our way back.
   There will be happy grandchildren this week when nanny can join them on their bikes 🚲🚲.
   Thank you so much to Peter and all the family and staff at AS bikes excellent customer service, I always recommend you when people admire my trike now I can praise your after service as well.

   Brilliant, fantastic and all the other superlatives you can throw at a review. Wife and myself arranged an appointment and popped down too have a look at the folding trike. Service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble too make sure Katrina was happy with the trike. As she has severe problems with feet which has restricted her mobility, this is a new lease of life for her. Having engineering experience myself, the build quality and design is wonderful to see. A small family business who could teach the big boys lessons.

   Ive been thinking of buying an electric Trike for some time and have tried to do as much research as possible as its quite an expensive investment that i hope to be able to use for a long time.Lots to choose from but i did wonder how reliable they were ,i started to see some negative remarks about certain Companies so i decided to take my time .During my research a small Family run Company kept cropping up with lots of positive reviews .,i loved the fact that the Company had been in business for over 20 years ,that it is a small family Company and they have never had to advertise . i am a member of a facebook tricycle group ,the Gentleman who runs the group shared an advert from Marketplace for a A S Trike ,i immediately messaged the Man who was selling it ,he was almost four hours away but agreed to meet half way . the tricycle was in new condition so i was happy to pay the asking price . Ive ridden the Trike daily since i bought it a week ago ,i am absolutely thrilled with the quality .I looked at the website and decided to purchase a set of lights so i phone up the Company and spoke to Sam ,a lovely young Lady ,in fact what a breath of fresh air ! ,she was so helpful , i mentioned that id read they are in Cheshire in a couple of weeks and IF i was able to id love to visit their stand ,Sam immediately said if you can we will check your Trike for you free of charge ! i was so overwhelmed ,what an amazing Company who put the Customer first ,. I then proceeded to purchase the set of lights ,Sam took my address and said ” Think of it as an early Christmas presant ! ” and didnt charge me ! .Again i was overwhelmed ,its very rare you get a Company that treats it s Customers with such respect . Sam is a credit to your Company .Im so pleased with the quality of the Tricycle and happy to know such a caring Company is at the end of the phone if i ever had any problems .I would DEFINATELY recommend buying form this Company .Thank you Sam ,it made my day talking to you .Kind Regards Sheila
